After studying in Bonn and Montpellier, and training centers in Bonn and Erlangen, he came to Heidelberg in 2004. He has worked for more than 20 years in the Department of Orthopedic and Traumatology with a focus on spine surgery, specializing in conservative therapy since 1998, and in surgical treatment since Over 15 years old. For more than ten years he has worked as a senior consultant, director of the department, and, lastly, chief physician in specialized spine departments. It represents the full spectrum of spine surgeries, from minimally invasive surgical interventions to complex malformations.

One of the main axes of my work is treating deformities (scoliosis and kyphosis) in children, adolescents, and adults, as well as treating corrosion-related diseases. While careful rehabilitation of the bones of children and the bone-nervous rehabilitation, the enthusiasm to work with patients, and the surrounding social environment, motivations and incentives to work.
